See What "no Depression" Magazine is Saying about "Warm Whiskey Nights"

Hey music fans and friends. I have some news that I’ve been reluctant to share but also know that the time is right and I feel good about it.

I’ve decided to take an indefinite break from playing music for a little while. Believe it or not, I’ve been playing music for 20 years now and it’s been amazing. It’s been a huge part of my life. I’ve toured the world, played on some huge stages and most importantly I’ve made the best, life long friends. I’m so grateful for that.

My kiddos are getting bigger and I really want to spend my weekends with my family. Real Estate has gotten VERY busy and I want to dedicate more time to my clients and my business. The farm is growing and I want to be  able to dedicate more time to it as well. My faith has grown stronger and I want to dedicate more time to God and being involved more with my church. As we all know, priorities in life change over time and as I said earlier, I feel like the timing is right and I feel content with my decision. I’m also not 25 years old anymore and I just can’t bounce back like I used to. My body is feeling it....

To all my friends and family that come to see me on a weekly basis, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support over the years. I love you all. There’s nothing like looking out into the crowd and seeing all of you singing along to my original songs. I’m so blessed to have you all in my life.

Lastly thank you to all the restaurants, establishments and individuals who have hired me over these past 20 years. It has been such a pleasure playing for you and your staff. You are keeping live music alive and thank you for continuing to do so even after your businesses have gone through its toughest times ever. Y’all are amazing.

Just so you all know, this isn’t forever. I plan on doing some Facebook lives, and some private events as well. I also do plan on playing out again, but most likely not at the level I’ve been accustomed to over the years.

That being said, my last “farewell for a little while” show will be this Saturday at THE BIG OWL TIKI BAR from 3-6! It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day and I hope to see a bunch of my friends out!

Thanks and Love You Guys!
